Leak Somewhere

Hey all,

I was just curious if anyone has experianced this. I washed my 2002 boxster today after driving it for 3 hours, of that 3 hours I had the AC on for about 2 hours. The passenger floor was damp. I do not think its from washing the car, but it is possible. Anyone else experiance this where it was an AC leak or a actual leak from washing the car. The car is under warranty so ill give it to them to look at but it would be nice if anyone out there has an idea what it can be before I take it in.

Thank you all,

Dave

Hi,

My guess is that your AC Drain is plugged. You need to locate this under the Car and clean it by running a piece of wire carefully up through it to dislodge the debris (don't get your face right in there as water may come gushing out once the clog is removed). See the attached diagram. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
