plasma ignition coils

I am about to change the ignition coils on my base 986 and apart from the standard coils i also found plasma coils. it says they produce 4 times the spark of the original coils. they are quite pricy, nearly 3 times the price of the original coils, but theyre supposed to add performance.
anyone has any experience, or feedback hey can give me on these plasma coils please?

We have looked at them at the behest of a customer, they are complete nonsense at a very high price.................

Traditionally with coils it's "pull," not "push."

That is, the coil delivers only what's required.

If your engine is in really bad shape and the fuel mixture is really messed up with oil mist or whatever, it may require more voltage to fire. It's a situation not usually dealt with by installing hotter coils.

They are pricy yes, i doubt theyre worth that much, even if they do give a slight gain, which i doubt an a na engine. My engine is in good nick. I have some mods done, like remap, plenum, under drive pulley, sports manifold, cats and exhaust, widened throttle body and bigger intake hose and air filter. So i was interested in adding a few more hp, but not if its hardly going to make any difference.

Well, I can assure you that these things are not going to add anything........
