spark plugs do you gap these ?
Haven't received my S yet but I'm looking at various forums to try and get educated. Looking on Pelican at spark plugs I see they use a multi ground electrode. Do you set the gap on this style of plug ? In the air cooled community NGK is highly regarded, I see the multi plugs come in NGK , Beru and Bosch. Any brand favorites in the water cooled community ?

I flush electrode NGKs and the gap does not need to be set.

No, if gap is off. throw away and get another.

I used Beru and no gaping needed.

Reference gapping sparkplugs,
I've been using Bosch Platinum IR Fusion plugs (4503). They have four (I guess you call them electrodes). They come pre-gapped. Just my two-cents, I don't like spending money if I don't have to. So for sparkplugs I research them on Pelican Parts and buy them via RockAuto. I paid $49.28 for 8 Bosch Platinum IR Fusion plugs (they are sold in packs of 4 plugs each) last year. But the great part was that I got a rebate check for $32.00 from Bosch as part of their Spark Plug Sparktacular Rebate promotion. My spark plug change before this last one (2012) I got a Bosch rebate check for $24.00 on Platinum IR Fusion six plugs. The plugs from RockAuto cost me $18.54 with shipping it was $27.69. Good Luck MNC-I |
Used the BERU ones with the plugs already pre-gapped.
