987 front strut brace on 986?

koosh Registered User Join Date: Dec 2012 Location: Scotland Posts: 106	987 front strut brace on 986? maybe this is a stupid question, i dont know? will a 987 boxster front strut brace fit on a 986? when i google images of them the mounting looks similar but i am not sure on width wise? i have ended up winning a brand new carbon 987 strut brace on ebay for very cheap and i'm just wondering if it will fit my 986 or if i am just going to have to sell it to my buddy who has a 987?

If it is carbon fiber, I would not be cutting it down, you should never cut carbon fiber parts.
