Honeycomb Rims

I need to get new tires, and I thought I might as well replace my rims and get it show ready. I wanted the BBS Honeycomb rims like the ones attached in post but they don't seem to make them 5 x 130. Does anyone know of another brand with similar rims? I do not want to use a conversion kit.

BBS made some of the OEM wheels including the "Sport Design" that looks like the wheels in your pic. They are usually called "mesh" style. Sport Designs are either 2-piece or 3-piece wheels & they are one of the most expensive used Boxster wheels. As with any used wheel purchase have a agreement with the seller that the wheels will be true enough to balance the bare wheel with 1oz or less. When you get the wheels check the trueness level A.S.A.P. I just started a paypal/E-bay protest regarding this very problem.

Would this mesh / basket weave / honeycomb wheel be heavy? Looks heavy... haha

Should I go 17" or 18" rims? 19" seems a bit much for me.

These don't look very heavy. If they are BBS they should be extra light. The oem Sport Design wheels are extra heavy due to the stainless curb guard. I like 18" wheels & have no desire for 19". Boxsters are more agile & fun to drive with 17" tires.

Are tires cheaper for 17"s than 18"?

Yes but it will be harder to find aftermarket 17" wheels

There are these two off brands on tirerack. 18" is what I was thinking about getting previously. Probably the new BBS ones for 1200
