Hi - I am considering buying an autel ms309 code reader - I have been told that it is compatible with my car 2001,986,2.7 auto s -
My query is when the reader shows me a code where is the most appropriate place on the web to visit to translate the code -

The proper code reader for your car is the Durametric tool. They often come up here used with a VIN or two left on them. Check out the Durametric website, and search "Durametric" on this forum for info - there is lots.

As far as what the codes mean, again search the code on this website. Chances are it has already been discussed repeatedly. If not then post it and there are always people willing to jump in and help.
