front latch adjustment

any good DIY's on the front hood latch adjustment? Mine isn't locking when I close it. I have to push the edges of the hood down pretty hard to ensure the latch catches..

What I learned is that you have to make sure the leading edge of the frunk lid is slightly lower than the back edge of the front bumper, otherwise you will get an unbelievably loud wind howl at highway speeds.

bloody hell...... is this what it is???? had this 'whoummm' noise for the last two years now i.e. since I've installed a GT2 front bumper. Just had a quick look and that leading edge is indeed about 2-3 mm higher than the bumper edge.

Can't believe this. top quality thanks for this note (lovely forum huh!)

Your 2 black stops probably need adjusting.
What also wouldn't hurt is to give the latch a puff of dry lubricant (PFTE, i.e. teflon spray), makes less of a mess than oil.
