Borla Exhaust on a base 986?

I have been searching and reading numerous posts regarding whether a Borla exhaust will fit and work on a base 986. Several posts indicate it should work, possibly with some hardware modifications, but I haven't seen any posts from anyone who has actually installed one on their base 986. If anyone has, what has been your experience with ease of installation and performance results? Thanks for your help.

Oh, it will fit. Enjoy the sound, and the resonance.
I've got a Borla with headers and minimal cats on my S. It's loud, but it's a good loud.

Thanks, j.fro,

Did you have it on before or after your headers and minimal cats? How bad is the resonance? Where in the RPM band range is the resonance? Thanks.

The Borla was the last piece to go on, and it added all of the resonance. The headers gave the exhaust a deeper tone, as did the cats. Drone is in the typical 2500-2800 range.
