LWF and clutch?

I'm replacing the motor in my 2002 2.7L Box (IMS yada yada) and going to set the car up for strictly track use, no street. With it's limited power, I'd like to maximize the HP any way possible.
Besides removing factory seats, etc for weight loss, I'd like to do a LWF and clutch (worked wonders in my 993!)

I've read posts here and seems the idea of LWF has mixed reviews. With that argument aside, what is the "right" combo to go with? Who's the best to buy it from?

Aasco LWFW with sprung SPEC clutch

Spec over a Sach's sprung? If so why? And finally can the factory pressure plate be used with the Spec clutch or do you have to buy their pp too?

I chose the Spec because I was able to call them and discuss my set up and application (autocross). Maybe I just opened myself up to a sales pitch, but what I've got works great. Ended up with a Stage 3+ with the Spec pressure plate. I installed it 3 years ago at 142,000 miles, and the car just turned 165,000 miles. In each of the three years I've done 15-20 AX events, and the clutch is going strong.

Ok. Sounds reasonable. I've just always been a German part in a German car kind of guy. Just always been my experience that non German parts ever seem to either work period or not as well. Had huge problems with that during my water cooled Vw days.
