Seriuosly considering Fabspeed package
Hello everyone,
After researching options for more HP I've decided to leave my car normally aspirated due to the ridiculous California emissions standards. Has anyone installed the complete performance package from Fabspeed w/ecu upgrade in Ca? And if so did you have any issues on the dyno during the emissions test? High HC, CO? Or is anyone running the 200 cell high flow cats in Ca? Any info you guys have will be helpful, thanks in advance Rev P.S. I have a 2002 Boxster S. |

I run 200 cell high flow cats with no emissions or OBD II compliance issues whatsoever. In fact, 200 cell in threshold before you'll trigger a CEL. As far as Fabspeed products are concerned, while there may be more prestigious "tuners" brands out there, they're one of the few companies that have taken the time to create a complete and well designed exhaust application for the boxster. Go for it ! It's certainly worlds better than the restrictive oem junk that's currently on your vehicle. |
I'm pretty happy with their catback exhaust... if you can afford the whole package why not.

I had the catback exhaust in my 02 and absolutely loved it. I a, considering the race version on my 03 but worried about it being way too loud. I know it's cup car sounding and I like noise but easy to much is just too much! Fabspeed is great...go for it!

I'm in CA and am doing the 2nd cat delete and muffler from Top Speed.
I have the muffler in place and just got the 2nd cat delete and need to install that. $521 for both kits delivered. I think there is an equivalent fabspeed system for about $1500 |
