rattle

gentlemen,

I was wondering, if anyone might be able to diagnose the problem. I have a 02 base. I have recently noticed that when I ride over some less than smooth surfaces (ie bumps in the road or small pot holes, etc), I hear some rattling in the back. Would this be a suspension problem? shocks? engine mount?

I know it could be anything...but this forum is so awesome, I thought I would just throw it out there and see what ya'll think. thanks.

tuan

I just fixed my rattle. Do a search on "rear trailing arms" and "rear track arms" and see if you have the same symptoms.

I installed a set of rebuilt trailing arms from Vertex Auto this past weekend. They are OEM arms with upgraded polyurethane bushings. They got rid of the clatter I was getting when going over rough road.

How did u know which one to replace? Apparently, there are several arms on one wheel. The noise is annoying. However, I don't want to buy the wrong part and waste money.
