Boxster S suspension in a Base

So I have a 99 Base Boxster. 120K miles on it with original struts. I bought springs and struts off a Boxster S.

Well I recently started looking into Koni FSD's and Bilstiens. I got a good deal on the S parts.

What are the opinions out there as two which it the better option for a car that will see no track time. I like a comfortable ride.

Believe it or not, base struts and S struts are the exact same part. I confirmed it when I changed my suspension. As far as comfortable ride, I feel Bilstien would get you closest to your goal considering they are the OEM manufacturer of Porsche struts.

Trivia:

An Audi/VW model may have boxster struts as well. I saw the logo and it doesn't surprise me, but does anyone know what car shares the same part? Looked up the ref number but couldn't find it.
