window switch is jammed
 

My window switch is jammed. It won't go to the down position. Only the top position goes. Every once in awhile I will get the switch to come down. Now nothing is wrong with my windows. I just have a bad switch. Other then replacing it, I could of sworn I read an article about taking the switch apart and deburring something. Am I wrong?
