If you do searches on this forum concerning superchargers and turbos, you'll find a lot of info out there already. Let your fingers do the walking.

Unlike rice burners, the boxster is very expensive to mod and you will not gain much HP unless you drop a lot of cash ($$$$) into the car.

Welcome to the family.

I sincerely urge you to drive the car and enjoy it for a while before you start looking to modify it. You'll find the parts / dynamics about the car that you feel need improvement then be able to target the $$$$ in that direction. Like Randall said, modifying a Porsche can run into some serious $$$$. A LOT more than you are used to with rice. It would be terrible to realize, after you spent thousands (yes, thousands) on an aerokit that your money would have been much better spent on an adjustable suspension.

As for Superchargers, the only company currently doing a kit for the Boxster is Imagine and I can vouch that they are a top notch shop. Stephen, the owner, has a passion for these cars that shows in his work.

I haven't seen anyone going a turbo kit, likely because of the issues with space and heat.

Truer word have never been spoken!!

For the body kits, I suggest picking up a issue of Excellance and look around you will find a set you like more!

Go with Ebay. Some of the better known dealerships sell on there.
You can get the sideskirting (factory) for about $700 and the factory front bumper upgrade (GT3) for $900-$1000. Add some 18" 5 spoke Carrera lights $2K and you've got a pretty nice look.
Some people go non-factory on the aero with fiberglass parts but those require more work to fit properly and like all fiberglass vs. Poly-U can break easier and that's NO FUN.
I added GT3 Recaro Pole Position racing seats $2K-$3K that matched my red interior perfectly.
My old car was a 1.8 Miata with a full Racing Beat aerokit and BBS RK's and lots of suspensions mods (for racing not looks).

check out http://www.precisionporsche.com/home.html for body kits. I purchased the turbo bumper with the C4S lip from them.

Nasty,

Are those lower vents open slits? Are you happy with the fit? Do you have any pics?

Thanks..

by C4S lip do you mean the Urethane lip spoiler? Or is made of Carbon fiber or Kevlar?

Looks like most of their stuff is fiberglass.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

U MUST GET THE AEROKIT! It truly brings out the lines of the Boxster. When I had mine installed, I was very happy with the results. It's been over a month and I have to say I'm ECSTATIC with it. I still turn around at least once every time to look at the car whenever I'm walking away. I highly recommend the factory Urethane front end tho. A lot of the websites carry the fiberglass. The kits makes the car very low and I really don't know how well the fiberglass will hold up when it gets rock for the first time. PerfectLap can't be more right by recommending the Supercup Lip Spoiler. It helps takes a lot of the abuse from speedbumps or low entry ways when one isn't careful. I would be more comfortable with the fiberglass side skirts. Just make sure fitment is correct on those.

The C4S lip is the original one and is urethene. It has the open slits. However the turbo bumper is fibreglass and I have to be really careful with it. Fits well, but the body shop I used said that it took them 10 hours to prep, paint and install the bumper. Lucky that I negotiated a flat rate deal.

I 'll post some pictures when I get a chance to take some decent pictures. It's been raining here for the past 2 weeks.

One more thing, the bumper with the lip sits pretty low, so I hit the lower lip when going down some steep curves. Scatched the bottom already. I debated whether to paint the lip. Now I know why they don't recommend it.

Overall, I very happy with the bumper and the way it looks.
