sides of convertible top not going into side tracks
 
looks like the sides of the convertible are not lining up and going into the tracks on the 987 when the roof is up.

Any idea how to fix this?

Yeah, I had that problem fixed under warranty with my '06. There is an elastic piece that gets stretched out. IIRC you can either Sew it up shorter to regain tension, or have a new pieces sewn in. I think Renntech has a more 987 specific thread.

Porsche will be glad to do it for $400. Mine was a week out of warranty. ouch..

I just sorta guided it with my hand when I put the top up. Never got around to fixing it.
