Dial help

I've foolishly took my dials apart to change the bulbs and while doing so the motor for the mph gauge fell apart so there fooked.

I'm looking at replacing them. I've seen a white set from a 2.7 that look tasty.

Am I correct in thinking that as long as the connectors are the same (size and colour) that they would be interchangeable

My original speedo number is 986.641.107.01
The ones I'm looking at is 986.641.980.52

He also has a set for sale with my exact part number but I quite fancied the white dials. Shall I just stick with the original.

Please advise, I need these quick I'm going some where this weekend.
