Performance Exhaust
 

Hey Dudes,


I'm new to this forum. I did search on exhausts but still need more feedback. Is anyone running a performance exhaust will all the rest stock on a non S Boxster? I am not expecting a performance boost but rather I'm interested in the sound. I read about the resonance, is it really opressive at highway speed? What brands have you guy's selected?

I put a Dansk sport exhaust on my S and am very happy with the sound. Not too loud - just a more throaty sound that is pleasing.

Is there any performance difference between the Dansk sport exhaust purchased after-market and the exhaust made by Dansk that comes from Porsche on the Boxster S?

I'm seriously thinking about going with a Dansk unit my own self. There are only three choices for a non S '98. Either Billy Boat, Dansk or GHL.

Blue are you noticing any harsh resonance at highway speed??

I am a fan of the B and B. I have one on my 01S and it is great sounding. Civil sounding when you are not deep in the throttle and amazing sounding when you open it up. I have turned a few heads that way. I have to say that it does drone on a little when cruising at 60 or so on the highway.
