Magnumflow high perf dry filter for Boxster
I just got an email from ECS Tuning and it led me to this filter on their website:
2000 Porsche Boxster Roadster S H6 3.2L > Engine > Filter > Air Filter > ES#2575131 MagnumFLOW Pro Dry S Air Filter - 30-10090PDS Quote:
I have heard not to use oiled filters but this one is dry. Has anyone used it or had any experience? I have a stock filter that I will be putting in the next time (well the first time) I access the engine, was just curious about this one... Thanks Steve |
"High-flow" very likely means low restriction / low efficiency = more contaminant getting into your engine. Is a $74 engine air filter really going to make that significant a difference? ...and at what cost? Suggest you stick with the OE filter or a quality equivalent.
