Fabspeed Race Exhaust

Looking into getting the Fabspeed Race Exhaust!

If anyone already has the exhaust how is the drone from 2,000 - 3,000 rpm?

Do you think it would be too loud with the race exhaust and 200 cell sport cat headers? http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1365144726.jpg

Yes.....
You will probably require earplugs and have to be happy to have no passenger on the second date.....

There are a couple of Youtube videos that you can hear it on. Sound and drone is subjective. The exhaust was actually toned down a little bit by Fabspeed when they decided to increase the size of the resonators on later versions.

Yes, too loud. Ear plugs would be sensible and you'll wake the dead when you get over 3,000rpm on a city street. Cops will love you.

I had a similar set up: headers, Fabspeed bypass pipes, no cats, and a Borla muffler. It was well over the "95db at 50 feet" limit for SCCA autocrossing, and they warned me about it.
On the good side, my Boxster sounded like a Cup car, and everyone loved it

Thats the only thing im worried about since I want to track my car. Are Buttonwillow and other tracks very strict with the db limit for track days? I just want to track the car and maybe a few autocrosses.
With the exhaust and headers was it over 100 db? Thx
