17mm wheel spacers with stock 17s

I would like to eliminate some of the fender overhang on my 02 S. Does anyone know how the stock 17" turbo twists would look with 17mm spacers?

Stock 986 17" turbo twist off a 2002 986 S, I do not know the off set as the car is in storage.

Kevin,

This is for cosmetics only. Does it have a noticeable affect on how the wheels fill out the wheel-wells? My car does not really need wider/heavier rubber, I'm just trying to make the existing running gear better fill out the wheel-wells...

Thanks!
