trunk won't open and door occasionally does not unlock with remote

trunk won't open and door occasionally does not unlock with remote, so i have to use the key to unlock the door.

locked everything manually. 3 days later. come out and now car wont start. all lights on dash, radio comes on but car wont start.

i have the car on a trickle charger overnight. hoping the battery was drained somehow.

someone mentioned that somehow the car does not recognize the key anymore and it disabled the engine.

any thoughts?

thank you in advance.

the trunk lost power the day after the mechanic tried to recalibrate my window bed it was not opening and closing when door handle was used. maybe this disabled something?

OK, I must be missing something. How does the inability of the clutch to be fully depressed effect the electric locks when the car is parked and the clutch would not be depressed at all? Just asking?
