Need info on lock cylinder tumbler
 

Hi Folks. Anyone know how to remove the tumbler from the driver's side door lock. It just spins and doesn't do anything. After 14 years and winters outside. it just crapped out. I've taken it all apart, and now I just need to get the lock and the pawl to spin wiht each other.

The cylinder is held in by a clip, but the problem is getting at it. It is very difficult to work in in the door, so your best bet it to remove the entire door handle assembly and work on it out of the car.

Thanks JFP. I have the sucker out. I need to get a used one now because I found out the cam and the piece between the pawl cam are busted.
