Boxster Supercharger or turbo?

twincharger! turbo and super charger. the m62 runs out of breath at higher rpm on the larger 3.2 engine so you need a turbo (or two) to keep the curve from flattening out.

Are you serious ? No one has yet to develop a safe, reliable and cost effective supercharger or turbocharger system for the 986 boxster. And, given the fact that 986 values have plummeted over the years, it's not likely it's going receive any aftermarket support in that category.

Stay with the looks and sound or save for an upgrade engine.
The std Boxster is a pretty fast car on twisty roads but will never be number one on the highway. More power is a never ending story
Not sure that a turbo or SC Boxster will survive that long to justify the investment .
Guess it is not extremely difficult to do the plumbing for a SC or Turbo, but there is a lot of issues around it, like how to solve the AOS setup, seems to be hard enough sometimes on standard cars

A stock 2.7L is a formidable track weapon in the hands of a skilled driver. IMHO leave the motor alone and learn to yoke it's strengths. Lots of great race tracks in FL so jump in, the water is fine!
