Kenwood Music Keg
Next project is to install the Kenwood Music Keg that is now installed in my 02 Silverado in the the Boxster. The Kenwood Music Keg is a giant MP3 player that looks like a CD changer to the existing stereo system. I have most of my entire music collection on this thing. Major concerns are what is the best way to mount it (it is about the same size as a CD changer) and what is the best route for the cable that will need to connect to the new head unit.

OH Yeah, those of you more interested in the Music Keg concept should visit Phatnoise.com...........

Front trunk for sure. Rear trunk gets too darn hot. Go through the firewall. Best of luck!

There's a built-in mounting slot for a changer in the front trunk. Will it fit in there? As for the routing, I'll need to take a look at where things go through and get back with you later if nobody else has an answer.

Oh Yeah, front trunk for sure. There are some existing grommets that look like they would be good for the cable routing. I there some kind of kit that adapts the changer (music keg) to the existing inserts in the front trunk?
