Thanks for the ideas i got a 1 - 2 amp smart battery charger by black & decker at walmart and it had everything i needed i plugged into the cigarette lighter and charged the car enough to use the key and have someone open the lock turning it 2 times to unset the locks on both doors and presto the trunk release worked.

or you could try this...
i had a similar problem with a dead battery and no way to get into the hood...i just connected the postive end of some jumper cables into an empty fuse slot via a metal dogear clip and connected the negative to the jack point (also a great ground for your car) and bam! enough power to start the car. Kind of ghetto, but it works.
