2004 UK Boxster brake issue

I have had the ABS/PSM Failure message on the dash come up. I checked my brake fluid and it was on minimum. Topped it up and it dropped again.

Took it to the workshop and my brakelines are corroded. Mechanic says it's a big job depending on how it goes with callipers. One piece line between servo and caliper they say

Anyone else had this done?

You might want to check with Gear on his vehicle since he just did his brake lines and he is in the UK as well. Engine out to do brake lines seems odd.

Looking at PelicanParts website and their parts diagram the engine and suspension do not have to come out the hard lines are in sections so it's a case of doing a bit at a time.

Depends which lines are corroded. You can either buy the length from OPC or get some made up to suit. £3k seems proper expensive. I've had a couple of hard lines done and it was nowhere near that price.

Update
The braking system has a connecter box about halfway down the car on the passenger side. It's leaking from there and is a common fault. No big deal to sort out.
