Hi,
My control arm link, rear suspension - rear lower, bushing isn't good,
Is someone know if i can buy only the bushing without the all arm?
If so, where?

Thank you,
Eli

I don't see a separate part number for just that bushing. Looks like the arm is an entire unit.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1352684946.jpg

There are some vendor who sell those which you would have to press in yourself. But the cost difference is very minimal. Recommend you replace the whole arm. Maybe look at a rebuilt one as an option.

Hello Eli.
You will have to get the whole part.
Vertex has rebuilt one, with improved bushing.
But it will require you to send them the core. Not sure it will be a good option for you if you live in IL.
PM me your email or phone number, I'll try to help you to get used one, or the new part in a good price. In fact, I can also help you get a mechanic back home, that will do the job for you at the friction of the price that Porsche IL will charge you.

Thank you guys for your help...
do you think its better to look for the whole part in Ebay?

or someone recommend on a special website?

Thanks again

The bushing was improved for the 987's & the whole link is fairly cheap, but you should replace both sides for safety & improved handling

I replaced mine at 57k miles (2000 'S') that would fit your car. Nothing wrong with them, I just like putting new parts on my car because I enjoy the work. I'd ship them too you but who knows what the shipping would be. Up to you. PM me.

You know, that is very nice of you!

Whatever happened to the "pay it forward thread"?
