Hi all....my drivers side window wont go up that extra little bit when you close the door to seal against the top. The window is all the way up and when you open the door it dint go down either.....any help on what it might be???

you did not specify model year but if it's 986 series, can you lock the car?

most likely the micro switch in the door mechanism is faulty and is telling the system that the door is open. it's the same switch that keeps the window 1/4 inch down when the door is open and once the door is closed (and the micro switch is in the opposite position) the window control processor raises the window the last 1/4 of an inch.
