Is 1998 UK Boxster OBDII Compliant?

Can anyone tell me whether my 1998 2.5 Boxster made for the UK market is OBDII compliant? I believe that ones for the US market are but UK ones may not be.

Thanks

if it is, you should have a port in the footwell

Thanks Bruce. I have checked and it does have a port in the passenger footwell.

Bruce, I don't understand. What do you mean "check your PM's"? Is it a chechnical term I should know?

I have been looking online re OBD compliance and I get the impression that USA spec cars were compliant from 1995 or thereabouts but EU cars were not necessarily compliant until 2001 although some may have been compliant before that, hence my confusion.

Grateful for any clarification you or anyone else can give.
