CEL after battery disconnect

I disconnected my battery to fix the dreaded horn problem with the grommets in the steering wheel. Only had it disconnected for a few hours.

After reconnecting the car ran really rough & has come up with a CEL.

Any idea's?

Disconnecting the battery should not throw a code, but considering that you were working on the car, I'd get the code(s) scanned and let us know what they are..............

I disconnected the battery for about 10 mins then reconnected, CEL disspeared.
