Hardtop Intallation ? ? ?

I am in the process of buying a Hardtop for my 00'. I have bought these before for my other Boxsters. I have always had a Porsche Dealership instasll the Hardtop Mounting Kit (Spin Locks). I have recently heard that this can be a "do it yourself" type of job. Has anyone done this before on their own? Can anyone give me some directions / instructions on how to do it? THANKS!!!!

You can definately do it yourself. But it is a tricky process to explain without pictures. I think if you do a search on "hardtop installation" you might find some helpful tricks.

When I bought my hardtop, I had the dealership fax me the instructions. They're kinda useful.

Here's a post I found helpful.
