OnStar not Working ?
 

It seems that my OnStar is not working . Has anyone else experienced this problem ?

Have you replaced the stock 8-track or tinted the hatchback glass? Both have been known to effect the OnStar system.

It's only complementary the 1st year after that you have to pay.

No doubt a company detected failing IMS, the first thing they do is disconnect your phone.

I sent an email to Porsche about it, and I'm waiting to hear back from them .

Might be a while, some of upper management is still making their way back from Robbie Douglas's funeral. Pontiac provided all the cars for that show but apparently the good doctor didn't mind.

I heard back from Porsche . Apparently OnStar was not an option on earlier boxsters . Gee, the tech at Sears Automotive Center told me that the button one the center console was for OnStar . Oh well, they did a great job of replacing the IMS bearing for me anyway.

Did they mean the big button with all the numbers on it?

That was special order for Johnny that's why first gear has an R or "retry" right next to it.

Johnny, remember to rev match before putting it in "R"...

Wrong, the r is for "Restricted Audience" .
