Squeak on Take off Needs some help. On occasion (RPMs up around 1500) when I let the clutch out there is a brief squeak noise coming from the back driver side. I have searched the internet a bit and haven't found much info on my issue. Any thoughts? |

wheel spin?? maybe not. It could be the throwout bearing staring to go. they can make quite a racket when they go. |

behind the wall? Is that sort of a knocking on the wall behind seats? It's heard after 10 or 15 minutes of warming up, specially while going rather slow on no-so-flat roads, more intense when lifting accel. pedal, so to say... |

Well Olin, I had the same problem a few months ago. I had the plugs replaced along with a new belt. Then all of a sudden i had a squeak when the engine was under load. I was thinking with the new belt maybe i had more pressure on one of the pulleys. Mr. Ghostrider thought it may be a loose plug. Ended up i live close to Mr. Ghostrider. He invited me over to his house to help me out. Sure enough it was two loose plugs. So after spending a little time ( free ) my car doesn't sound like a squeaky toy any more. I also made a new friend. Thanks Ghost. |
