Boxster 986 Stalls and regains when hot

Have a 2000 Boxster S. Car drives fine for about 20 miles. While driving the engine will bogg down (nothing happens when you press the accelerator) then it regains consciousness and will drive, then repeats. Almost been killed a couple times pulling out into traffic. Sometimes it accelerates sometimes it doesn't.

The Indy Replaced the MAF - Checked to O2 sensors - throttle position is ok, Cats are not clogged, and is now going to looking to replace the Variocam solenoid.

Has anyone had this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any checks done on fuel pressure?

No checks on fuel pressure. I will say the problem only arises after driving about 25-30 miles.
It is the equivalent of driving to speed and turning the key off to the car, then turning it back on.
I am not loosing any (electrical power) the engine just doesn't respond, then suddenly will kick back in and drive. When parked and running the rpms will also gallop around normal idle. After the car cools it runs normally for about the 25-30 miles.

Sounds like a failing fuel pump

Would the fuel pump only act up when the car has been run for a while?
