IMS Replacement/ ease of installation

What is the average for a complete IMS retrofit, clutch, RMS, IMS bearing etc.? And is it something I want to tackle myself, I have pulled engines and have access to a lift and a pretty good mechanic. Is this something I want to take on or just pay someone, I just have never liked not knowing everything I can about my cars. I figure I can bring it in under 2000.00, I'm ordering a IMS Guardian with in the month. Thanks Oh yeah everything will be going in a 2001 Porsche Boxster S
