just be aware of the "finer" print:

- $399
- it is not your steering wheel, but a different one.
- you must send yours after receiving theirs
- $349 core deposit to ensure you send your old wheel to them
- airbag not included. that's an extra $399

Just a heads up, this is the same people that did my wheel. The quality and turnaround time is very good. I'm thoroughly happy with the results and they have a ton of options to make your wheel unique to your own car.

Smooth leather?

Appleguy, it looks like your wheel was done in leather that has very little grain...is it similar to what Porsche calls "smooth leather"--almost like deerskin?

Did you get the extra padding? If so, are you happy with the, uh, "squishyness" of the wheel?

If you don't mind me asking, what did the process entail - i.e. costs, core exchange, airbag replacement, turn around time ect .... ?

The process entailed me disconnecting the battery and removing the airbag and steering wheel. Since I've purchased from the shop where their showroom is at many times in the past, they had their core wheel wrapped for me without a core charge. It took them about two weeks and then I showed up and swapped my wheel with the new wrapped wheel.

I used my existing air bag and it matches well,
