Revs not dropping between shifts
 

My 2.7 egas has a problem where the revs don't drop immediately when you take you foot off the throttle. As an example between shifts the revs tend to slowly drop rather than immediately.

Shouldn't be the throttle body as I cleaned it less than 5,000 Kms ago. Is it likely to be the MAF, or something else?

Does the same thing happen when you just apply the throttle in neutral/when parked?

Could be as simple as your floor mat, but I doubt it.

It's a manual & yes Overdrive it does. Unfortunately its not the floor mat Flavor, good thought though. I did check that after your suggestion.

How about the pedal's travel? Does it come right back up with your foot when you lift or is it kind of slow? I'm wondering if your input behind the gas pedal is worn out/gummed up/out of adjustment and the throttle is reacting accordingly as though you were slowly lifting off the throttle instead.. I don't have e-gas experience, but that's what comes to mind thinking about it logically.

I've had a similar issue. Check for vacuum leaks after the throttle body: the hose connecting the AOS to the intake plenum, the TB seal to the plenum, and the large rubber connectors between the plenum "T" and the "fingers"

I replaced my entire pedal when the bottom hinge had broken and it solved many problems, also making the response better. If I can remember the revs did drop quicker on releasing the pedal after installing the new pedal. I would take the pedal apart and trace for loose/worn parts, it would be a logical place to start before moving to the throttle.

Check the codes too.
