front subframe torque value..?

According to the manual the front 18mm bolts (and two nuts) are required to be torqued down to 118 ft lbs...

According to my Craftsman wrench I went all the way to 110-115 but a couple of bolts didn't reach that much (at least 110) but I stopped for fear of stripping something., I have to recognize that was quite a workout for me.

Does 118 ft lbs seems right? BTW I remember having a hell of a time loosening these guys

.

Yes. They are 118. Just did mine and was afraid to do it but it is fine. Just pull it until your muscles hurt! I was sore for a day torquing all the bolts!

What size are the bolts?

go here:

and look for Tightening Torque for Front Axle.

Oh, thanks for clearly stating that in the OP, that seems right, the lug bolts are 14mm & 96 ft./lbs.
