clearing the stock exhaust for ghl

does anyone know or have experience removing stock exhaust off of
a 98 2.5l? i need to make room for the used ghl just purchased. anyone
have any useful tips? i recieved a ghl with two triangular brackets one
on each canister. is this the correct one? iv seen the same ghl exhaust
with two bolts one off the top of each canister. which fits which model?
what tool are required? your help is appreciated. thanks folks

Ghl..................

If you have the coinage to take it to a mechanic who can fabricate the mounts for you or know someone who can, then do that. I was gonna do mine myself, but have seen some clips of self install and the exhaust seems too loose. Wanted a solid job and my mechanic did a beautiful job. You definitely want a solid mounting job to ensure the mounts do not break and exhaust does not wiggle. Sound will be cleaner too with no chance of rattling.

You need to take it to a muffler shop.

Get some good ideas from shops found at www.magnaflow.com

If you were to head down to the OC you should go to Kevin at Carrtech in Mission Viejo.
