Difference in Gas

Many of us here have recommended Chevron Gas with Techron as a way of keeping our Box running smoothly.

The following has a bit more about this additive.

Interesting, I thought.

While I will withhold my comments about oil companies merging, I must say I am very pleased to see Texaco adding Techron to it's fuel now that it's half owned by Chevron.

I discovered this yesterday as I was driving home from my CA vacation. Filled up with Texaco gas and found it had techron just like Chevron... and a little cheaper per gallon too!

It's good to be home where I can find 93 anywhere. Had to pump some 90 on the trip and didn't want to, but had to do it.

Gotta love that Techron!

Techron is the real deal.

Amen! And buying Chevron (or Texaco when it shows up in your 'hood) is a bargain. I pay about .10/gal more for the Chevron here so it's about $1.50/ tank. Compared with the cheap gas and a bottle of Techron at $4, what a bargain! :D

They sell Techron additive at Costco. I think it is about $2.30 per bottle in 4 bottle carton.

Good stuff.
