Cr-220 Display

Hi, just got my new used 02 986 2.7 today and as the previous owner drove away I started to see the faults so there may be a few posts from me asking for help..............

The radio display is totally blank. The radio works and changes chanels using the presets. The display illuminates I press the on button and goes off when I press it again.

The contacts look clean under the removable front panel.

Anybody any thoughts what this might be?

You can buy a new faceplate on eBay for less than $50, that should solve any problems you are having. FYI: You will need your code to make the radio play with the new faceplate.
