I have a used supercharger off of my cousins 97 2.5L. The kit is complete, works 100% with the exception that you'll need an injector controller. Somehow I lost it. Let me know if you are interested. PM me or email if interested.

Sounds like BS to me but that new exhaust system that is coming out soon looks interesting...

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
My question is it really true in their sales pitch that the secondary cats are not really necessary? What is their purpose to the car?
2ndary cats are not necessary. I know the 2.5L's have only one set. I'm not certain but I also think that pre-03's may have just one set as well. Anyway, bypass pipes might not be a great idea as there is a sensor that plugs into the cat and it has nowhere to go if pipes are used. I believe this may confuse the ecu and trigger CEL's. High flow cats may be a better option.
Did you do it in stages or all at once? I'm skeptical and want to do it in the following stages, starting with the least cost item: +hp claims
1. Air flow $395 +10hp
2. Cat bypass $ 495 +8hp
3. Muffler $1095 +12hp
4. Chip $1495 +12hp
Anyone install just the Air flow and notice any difference? Or a combo of any of the above upgrades?
Before I upgraded to an S, I test drove another Boxster S with upgrades and did notice a significant difference in power from an S without upgrades. However, did not know exactly which upgrades. It was sold before I made my decision to moved to an S.
I never drove a 996 before, but the shop person there said that it was as fast if not faster than a 996.
