Exhaust rattle

I had a distinct rattle on the driver side, metal on metal, mor so when cold, less so when hot. Borrowed my buddy’s lift after he extracted his 1957 300SL, and 1967 XKE. Turns out the heat shield between the first and secondary cats was loose. The rivets holding it had rotted away on my 2004 base Boxster. I tapped it back into place and snugged it up with a stainless hose clamp. All good now, nice and quiet. The right side was fine. While underneath the car I did a visual inspection. Everything was tight and leak free. PCNA replaced the engine in 2013 after an IMS failure. At least this fix was easy.
