Durametric vs Foxwell

Dear All,

I have a Foxwell 530 scanner that seems to have fewer available functions on my 1999 Boxster than on later years. Mine has 5.2 DME/ECU IIRC and I can`t look at cam angle values for instance. (The same scanner works well for cars with 7.2 DME/ECU).
I`m thinking of investing in a durametric, but before doing that just wanted to make sure that the durametric will have all the functions (cam angle values for instance) on my 1999 car.

Thanks for any input!

I can't answer your question specifically but the Durametric will give you far more options in later years than in the older models. If you're friends with an indie, ask him to hook up his Durametric to your car to get an idea before investing.

Thanks Guys for the responses. Based on the code matrix it seems there should not be unavailable functions on the 1999.
