Resetting Memory Seat Settings

I just bought a 2003 Boxster, but car did not come with an Owner's manual. I am too cheap to pay for new one at the Dealer, so i am trying to find one on Ebay. In the mean time, how do you change the memory settings on the seat and mirrors? I am getting real tired of the seat moving up to steering everytime I get in! (I think Mini-Me was the P.O.!)

No offense but it is about $25. I think after you add postage and fees on EBAY, you are at a wash.

Take the plunge, the car is worth it!

A four year old, 15 month old, building a new house and a 944 race car dictate cheapness for me!!! Anyway, I found a PDF copy of Owners Manual and have taken care of the problem. I am really surprised at the $25 cost, I thought it would be much higher.

If you buy the complete set of manuals, the cost is higher. To me, the OM is the only essential doc. You can usually figure out the rest of the stuff on your own.

Good luck with that 15 mo old.

hold down the mem button and then will holding push the number 1,2 or3. that is the new setting for that number and if you have key in ignition it is also set.
