Possible to fit "S" rotors and pads to non "S" calipers?

I've searched this but haven't found a definitive answer. I know its not possible to just do a bolt on switch with the rears because of the p brake or at least I've heard this. But I would like to know if you can swap out the front pads and rotors with the slightly larger S rotors and pads. Has anyone done this and is it possible?

The dimensions are:
Base Front Disc 298mm x 24mm, Pistons in Calipers 2x40,2x36 mm , pad area 216 cm^2

S Front Disc 319mm x 28mm, Pistons in Calipers 2x40,2x36 mm, pad area 254 cm^2

and as for the front calipers I believe they are exactly the same.

yes it is possible to switch to S calipers and rotors. you need both. the calipers are bigger than the base and as you know the rotor as well, I belive you need a spacer to mount the caliper to the base axle mount

You cannot swap just the rotors; S rotors and base rotors have both a different diameter and thickness, and are therefore not interchangeable. If you swap rotors and calipers on the front, it is a bolt on swap, no spacers or adaptors required.

None of the S rear brake components can be mounted on the base rear suspension, you need to swap out the entire rear carrier assembly to accomplish that swap.
