Sudden Power loss

Hello
I have recently done the EvomSit solution ( ECU flash and installation of Air Flow Intake ) and when I do a hard acceleration ( 5 to 6 rpm) I loose all the power of the car ...RPM will be at ! or 2...the only way to recover from this situation is to re start the engine and everything is back to normal.
My dealer says that it is the Mass Air Flow Sensor however there is no faulty code.
Before I spend another 500 $ I would appreciate some comments
Many thanks

Always go back to the last thing you touched: Undo the ECU reflash back to stock and see what happens. If it still does it, look at the intake system you installed.

Process of elimination.............

Too little information. Was all the work done at the same time by the same mechanic? Did the problem (losing power) start immediately or after a while? Did the mechanic test the system/car after doing the work and before returning it to you? Have you spoken to the mechanic about the problem so he could evaluate the situation.

Both of your changes have electrical (computer) implications associated with them so, as stated above, you'll have to eliminate one at a time and see which one is causing the problem. I would take back to the shop that did the work and have them make it right.

Thanks
Yes the same mechanic did the job and tested the car ...car was ok
This happened a few days latet and it is intermittent
So I my have to re flash teh ECU at its original state.

That's where I would start. I would have the mechanic do it as it was their work that caused the situation. Good luck with it. It's never fun to have a niggling, unresolved problem.

Thank you for your good advice
I hope they eventually find it
