Dismounting rear spoiler ?
 

Does anyone know if the plastic rivet pins that are driven through the three rivets holding the spoiler cap on can be reused? One member, as I recall, mentioned that you could use short replacement pins of coat hanger wire as a substitute if I am not mistaken. I want to remove it and paint the black areas Arctic Silver like the rest of the car plus I will need to remove it to dismount the rear bumper when I install the now infamous Charlie Chan muffler. you can reuse them as much as you want, as long as you dont loose them when you push the pin through.
Its a light pressure fitting.
