smoking and loss of power

Hi everone..I have a 98 Boxster and have just completed putting her back together, I took her over the local airstrip for a test run and stumbled on a problem.
While giving her a bit of stick on left lock the car bogs down on power then chucks out loads of smoke (not from the tyres) , On right lock it's sweet and runs perfect.
I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of the cause of the problem or if thay had herd of a problem like this before....Many many thanks

The AOS is getting overwhelmed on left had turns, and puts oil down the back of the throttle body

It is air oil separator and is on the driver's side of the engine if you do a search you'll be able to read a lot about them

The AOS is on the driver's side if you live in the UK... Your post messed with my mind for a second. :)

If I were you I would take the center intake tubes off and clean the oil out of the left intake they have a valley were the oil can sit and it would not hurt to clean the throttle body otherwise it will still smoke after you replace the AOS
