Shift Cables
 

Does anyone know if the shifter and cables from a 5 speed boxter will work in a 6 speed Boxster S???

They look identical to me.

I have tried looking up the numbers and cross referencing the part numbers.

everthing online is Convulated and doesn't specify the years.

there are many different cables for the different years - 9 to be exact - they do have a different number for the "S" model which is 6 speed so according to the parts manual they are different don't have a clue what is defferent could be just the fittings on the end? use your own judgement. hope this was helpful
